Baby update

We went to the Doc's yesterday for a check-up. After looking at the ultrasound and seeing the size of the baby they moved our due date back 'til the 12th of April. I wasn't surprised by this at all. So instead of being 26 weeks, we are almost 25. The baby is moving a lot now. She said he/she is in breech position too. Hopefully the position will change once we get further along. The heart beat was strong at 145. No concerns as of now. 

We had a great Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve with Jerret's parents and then Christmas morning with my parents and grandma & grandpa Duck. We then had dinner with Jerret's family that evening. The snow is finally beginning to melt, but side streets are a little thick still. 

December 23, 2008

Well we our on our way out of ARCTIC BLAST '08!  I am not sure if roads will be thawed enough by my parents house to do Christmas...She said they got 21 inches of SNOW!  Yesterday when  Jer and I measured we had about 14. 2-4 inches is supposed to fall tomorrow possibly...Christmas EVE!  Jer has been able to drive in it so I haven't been completely stuck at home, but haven't seen my family in over a week and half which is way RARE for me :)  Schools out for Winter break. We had premature break last week only going to school for a 1/2 day on Thursday. We got to wrap all our gifts and send them home which was good. All of my Christmas shopping is basically done so I am happy about that. I have some more wrapping to do. I'll do that today while Jer is at work! 

    We go in for our next Dr. Appt. Friday. I haven't been in 6 weeks...whoops!  I feel the baby kick a lot now, which is so fun!  Yesterday I washed the first round of baby clothes. I finally broke down and bought the expensive baby laundry soap :) Hopefully next week we will get the crib and really begin setting up the babies room. Once January hits we will have about 3 months, which I am sure will fly by with working and everything!  We still haven't decided on any names...People keep telling us when we know we will know...so hopefully!

It's December

Well we are doing well. We went and got our Christmas tree yesterday because Jer will be out of town next Saturday and then has to work on Sunday, so we decided to get it earlier than later. I just got home from work today and the cat has knocked a lot of stuff off the mantle...however the tree looks untouched which is a good sign. Jerret was really worried about her, but she seems to not bother it. I am feeling good. I feel the baby kicking every once in awhile now. It hasn't been on a regular basis yet though...soon to come I am sure. I don't have another doc. appt. scheduled but guessing it will be within the next month or so.
