So we decided to head to Central Oregon to celebrate Jerret aging into another decade :) Originally we were going to go to Sunriver (the realized it was Pacific Crest weekend), then I found a house in, what I thought said Black Butte, Eagle Crest. We went over Friday the 22nd and came home on Sunday the 24th (Jerret's actual birthday)
Here are a couple pics of Miss Blakely while we waited for the other guests to arrive :)
We stayed in a small 3 bedroom, 2 bath chalet on the 6th fairway of The Ridge Golf Course. It was a nice view...no other houses in site out our window :) There was a hottub, in which I did not enjoy as I am not quite bathing suit ready :) Others did however.
We went with John, Carmen & Will, Evan, Lindsay & Elliana, Cole & Katie, Kelly and Laura. Blakely came along, however, Brynn stayed at Grandma's house.
Since there were 3 babies under the age of one, there was A LOT of baby watching going on :)
Blakely
Will enjoying being tickled by the black bear
These 3 spent a lot of time on the floor enjoying each others company.
Elliana enjoying pulling on Blakely's blanket.
The 3 enjoying each others company.
Will enjoying his time on the floor!
On Saturday we decided to take a hike at Smith Rock...
Our starting point...
was down in that little circle...across the way is where our cars are parked.
The girls, part way up "Misery Ridge Trail"
Yes it was miserable...straight up, our legs were BURNING!!!
I started with Blakely on the front, then part way up Jerret took her for the rest of the hike :)
Baby switch time...
View from the top...we started waaaay done by the river.
We made it to the top!
And the rain started in....
Monkey face...camera lens speckled with rain drops...
We have to go all the way down where?!?! to the river
Starting our trek down...this was actually AFTER the rain subsided and we were "racing" the water down the side of the mt. You can somewhat see the trail how it switch-backs down...slow and steady does it so none of us slip!
Monkey face from below
Cool rainbow after the rain subsided...
Totally worth the "misery" going up!
Katie and Lindsay kept "falling behind" because they kept stopping to take pictures :)
There were TONS of rock climbers
Jerret and Blakely at the end of the hike
Smith Rock on the way out...
Back at our Chalet...more baby time :)
Cake Time!
On the drive over the cake shifted and ended up looking a bit messy :(
Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Jerret! Happy Birthday to you!
Last day, babies waiting for mommy's and daddy's to get packed up!!
Oldest to Youngest...
Elliana, William & Blakely
We had an awesome trip and can't wait to plan the next adventure!!!

Do you and your sis have the same shoes? Too cute! Love all the photos. How long was the hike Katy? I did it years ago when I was in HS and once more, cannot remember, but anyway was wondering if K could do it.
Yes we are :) Not on purpose! It took us about 2 hours I think...it is pretty hard, but kids probably can do easier :) It is pretty straight up and on the side of a cliff...kinda sketchy at times but VERY COOL!
