38 1/2 weeks...

Went to the dr. today. My dr. is out of town, so I saw a midwife named Bonnie (who was SUPER nice). I am 3 cm and still 50% effaced. She said my cervix is VERY soft though. She "warned" us this labor will almost guaranteed be very fast, so when I begin feeling contractions get to the hospital. She predicted it would be a fast delivery and also a middle of the night labor action :) She had all sorts of stories/predictions/experiences to share which were entertaining. I asked about the size of baby, because I am getting nervous I will have a gigantic baby and she said the way my belly looks it looks as though i will have an average size baby...7-8 pounds. I hope she right :) I made my next appt. for next Wednesday...she doesn't think I will make it until then...we shall see! Jer said just think about it...you area already about a 3rd of the way there dilation wise :) ha ha...weird to think about! I think I was 3 cm when my water broke with Brynn...took awhile to get to a 6 and then went from a 7-10 in 7 minutes...CRAZINESS!!!! Until next time....I am going to try and rid myself of this acid reflux...
