Jerret's XC team had their conference race up in Everett, WA on Saturday. Brynn went and stayed at my parent's house and Kelly drove up to Seattle with me for the evening. We enjoyed walking in Pike's Market and having dinner on the pier. We did some light shopping and enjoyed lots of laughs together. On Saturday morning, we bundled up, stopped at TJMaxx for a little more lightshopping and then headed up to Everett to watch Jer's race. It was FREEZING cold and Kelly didn't know the spectators had to run in order to watch the race :) She has only been to one before at that one was at CCC (which you can stay in one spot and see a decent amount of the race). Luckily the rain held off until the men's race was over which was nice. Both Jer's teams took 4th by a margin of 2 points and 4 points :( He was a little disappointed but overall happy with his teams performances. Here are a few pics of our little weekend get-a-way!
