What's on the Menu?

While driving home I was really thinking about asking Jer if he wanted to go out to dinner because making dinner did not sound appealing at all. But I knew we will both be eating out tomorrow cause he is going to Everett with XC and Kelly and I are going to go too (we are driving separate). So I began brainstorming...tacos? chicken tacos? taco soup? breakfast burritos? not grilled cheese, chicken? Nothing was tickling my fancy...as I was carrying all Brynn and my stuff up to the house, I remembered John and Carmen gave us some potatoes from her step-dads garden and we needed to eat them before they went bad. So this is where my menu for tonight started....

Chicken cooked w/ a drizzle of olive oil and spices on the stove top
mashed potatoes (that were OH SO DELICIOUS) w/ gravy
french style green beans (frozen...well not frozen when we ate them)
acorn squash (another veggie from the garden of Carmen's step-dad)

After I dished my meal up, Jerret said "Your plate looks like we should be at...Olive Garden" (I said restaurant...not really Olive Garden type food). I should have taken a picture because it was kinda pretty...the chicken, highlighted with the green beans, mashed potatoes w/ the small amount of brown gravy on the top, w/ the orange acorn squash...

I am so glad I didn't cave to going out to dinner cause my tummy sure was satisfied by the dinner tonight!!!
